Unplugged Cities is a full service Internet technology firm specializing in Municipal WiFi network deployment and management, the Internet service needs of enterprises, apartment complexes, educational institutions, hotels/motels and residential subscribers. Our core competencies lie in city-wide mesh WiFi, Wireless Point-to-Point, T-1, DS3, Fiber, DSL and dial up connectivity. We pride ourselves on providing superior service to our customers through clearly defined strategies, effective execution and ongoing customer service. You will be responsible for new client acquisition for our Internet Services areas.
The successful candidate will be able to establish new customers by selling Internet Services to these enterprises, hotels/motels, educational institutions, apartment complexes, and small and medium businesses. The individual will offer superior account management skills and cross-selling abilities.
General Job Description
- Be a key player in the evolution of the Unplugged Cities' Internet Services department.
- Excellent customer service and account management.
- Exceed sales goals by developing over $500,000 in yearly revenue.
- Work closely with Internet Services to identify new target opportunities.
- Generate business by calling on prospective customers.
- Effective communication of customer needs to the web design and programming departments.
- Exceptional proposal writing in conjunction with Internet Services project managers.
Requirements
- At least 2 years experience in selling Internet Services for an established ISP.
- Knowledge of basic Internet and network engineering principles, terminology and technology.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Strong initiative combined with excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Good time management skills and ability to work both independently and collectively.
