We believe at the heart of our solutions is the ideal of maintaining an uninterrupted level of network availability. Our data center is in a downtown Minneapolis Tier 1 facility. Unplugged Cities is connected to the Internet by dual OC-48 connections that are carried on the National OC-192 Backbone. The OC-192 is self healing with multiple fail over paths. The Unplugged Cities network is connected to 8 nodes on the Internet, allowing for a high degree of redundancy and routing flexibility. This may be too much information if your requirement is the end solution, but your IT department will be impressed.
